Highlands Community Charter and Technical Schools Appoints Suleiman “Sully” Shetab to Board of Directors

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (June 18, 2026) — Highlands Community Charter and Technical Schools today announced the appointment of Suleiman “Sully” Shetab, a financial services executive, entrepreneur, and community leader, to its Board of Directors.

Shetab brings more than 15 years of experience across financial services, tax strategy, investor relations, commercial real estate, and business development. He currently serves as Executive Director of Sports & Entertainment at MassMutual / Legacy Tomorrow Insurance & Financial Services, where he advises athletes, entertainers, business owners, and high-net-worth clients on financial planning, advanced tax strategies, and long-term growth. He also serves as Director of Investor Relations for Onyx Investment Group and is Co-Founder of InGame Enterprise.

Throughout his career, Shetab has worked with families, entrepreneurs, business owners, and community leaders to support financial stability, long-term planning, and economic opportunity. His areas of expertise include financial planning, business development, insurance, tax strategy, investor relations, commercial real estate, and nonprofit governance.

Shetab also brings a strong commitment to community service and student success. He currently serves on the Board of the Never Too Late Foundation and has been involved in community events, fundraising, and partnership development across the Sacramento region. His family’s roots in Afghanistan and firsthand experience with resettlement have shaped his commitment to supporting students and families working to build new futures.
